Detroit's federal court will soon be hearing two cases that could have a far-reaching impact on education across America. The issue behind both cases is whether literacy and education are fundamental, federal rights guaranteed to all citizens. Details of the cases can be found here.

Members of the Cleveland Hill Education Association walked on October 15, 2016, in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event held in downtown Buffalo. This year, our members donated over $1,100 to this fundraiser. Thanks to those who walked or sponsored a walker!

The 2016 Annual Meeting of NYSTRS Delegates was recently held. More than 700 delegates, alternates and visitors were on hand at the Nov. 6-7 conference at the Saratoga Springs City Center.
